Guides & common questions

7 guides to help you get started

How do I connect an account?Getting started

Open connection setup, choose your supported enterprise account, and follow the provider-specific instructions. TokenFlow checks the account and available reporting capabilities before publishing data.

What data does TokenFlow collect?Data & privacy

TokenFlow reads financial and usage metadata supplied by your connected provider. It does not collect prompts, responses, source code, tickets, or chat histories. Available detail varies by provider and plan.

Why is some spending unassigned?Understanding reports

Shared identities, fees, or charges without a confirmed employee match stay unassigned. An owner can confirm an exact identity match from the People section. Confirming attribution changes who owns a charge, never the company total.

Why is a report unavailable or incomplete?Troubleshooting

Unavailable means a complete report has not been published for the selected period. It does not mean zero spend. Check source health for missing coverage, stale data, or a connection that needs attention.

Can I set a hard spending cap?Understanding reports

The current product uses read-only reporting connectors. It shows reported spending and trends; it cannot block activity or change a provider’s spending limits. Manage any hard limits directly with your provider.

Why don’t I see hourly or project data?Understanding reports

These views require verified hourly buckets or project attribution from the source. TokenFlow does not invent missing detail or split a daily charge into estimated hours. Open Source limitations on a widget to see its coverage.

How do I change or reconnect a source?Troubleshooting

Open connection setup to review your connections and follow the supported recovery flow. If a source becomes stale, the last complete reports stay available while it needs attention.
